Show Notes
In this episode of The Tudor History & Travel Show, I'm joined by Dr Owen Emmerson, Castle Historian and Assistant Co-Curator at Hever Castle. Recorded during my visit to the castle back in July 2021, we talk about Anne of Cleves' time at Hever. We re-imagine how the castle would have looked during her occupancy and how she might have spent her time there. Also, we explore the Wyatt rebellion, spawned at nearby Allington Castle, and reflect how it brought Anne, dangerously close to ruin.
